Don, Yr a GEM! Worked first time. I don't know what drove you to figure out
that dragging the message to the desktop (of all places!!!???) would work,
but hey, it solved the issue! Bless ya little cotton socks! Just for
interest, has anyone figured out WHY this issue happens? Cheers, AWC

Hardly. You were the one to claim it is endemic. Scientific and
mathematical procedure requires that one find only a single exception to
prove a conjecture wrong. I've done that in your case.

Malaise-from-Microsoft

I've discovered that when I have a new message window and I use the To, CC,
or BCC buttons, the pop-up lists people in my address book but it may not
enter the persons email address (despite it being in the proper place in the
contact record). In other words, unless the email address is displayed in
the E-mail column, Outlook will put the persons name there. Why Outlook only
does this for certain contacts is a mystery. From reading this forum, it
looks like it has been a problem for quite a while. I'm using Outlook 2007.
You'd think they might be able to fix this but they are too busy window
dressing the interface.

THERE IS NO AMOUNT OF PHILANTHROPY BILL AND MELINDA CAN DO TO OFFSET THE
PAIN AND SUFFERING CAUSED BY MICROSOFT PRODUCTS.
