messages send but do not leave the outbox and keep resending.

My email messages will send but they will not leave the outbox and they keep
resending unless I delete them entirely. I can not move them to the sent box.
Any suggestions?
 
I have exactly the same problem. I've tried deleting outbox.dbx etc and compacting the folders but the problem remains. I've used Virus scan on and Virus scan off... no change... HELP!
