messages not sent in outbox

If I click on a message in the outbox to read it before sending it will NOT
send.

Outlook 2003 part of Office suite. All Windows patches/upgrades inc sp2
installed.

You need to click on the Send button... if that doesn't work, switch to
another folder before clicking Send.
