If you please,
I use Outlook 2003 with all fixes, on XP-Pro SP2, also fully updated.
Also have 6 email addresses registered, 3 on MSN.com and 3 on Hotmail.com,
distributed in my family.
My problem is that, after downloading messages, they can be misdirected into
the wrong Inbox. This is fairly common in Hotmail, rare if any, in MSN.
If I close and reopen Outlook, it will be corrected.
The problem also develop in an almost similar desktop, as well as in a
laptop (which is wireless).
The connection is MSN DSL through a router and network, wired and wireless
I have repaired Outlook at least twice for this reason, in this computer,
with no correction.
Any suggestions?

If I were in your shoes, I'd give each family member his or her own Windows
account and mail profile (unless some of those member are minor children, in
which case they shouldn't have their own mail account). This will keep
everyne's mail completely separate and make it impossible for messages to be
misfiled.

Fair enough, but 3 of those are mine. 2 hotmail and 1 MSN. The program
should work better than that.
Thanks for the return

Then put your three accounts in one profile and the other accounts in
appropriate profiles.

Simplicity is the key to success.
Deletion of all hotmail accounts and recreation, took care of the problem.
Having one profile for myself, as it was, would not have prevented my two
hotmail accounts from continuing misdirecting my own messages.
If I would have created profiles for my wife and kids, deleting then from my
profile, would not have solve the problem with my two hotmail accounts,
unless I created two different profiles for myself.
Outlook is suppose to be able to keep a number of email accounts, even for
just one person, scrupulously isolated from each other. Apparently it does,
providing they are appropriately installed.
Cheers
