Messages Getting Stuck In OUTBOX

I have a problem with OUTLOOK 2003 (WX Pro - SP) that is driving my
friends nuts. sometimes when I have an outgoing message with an
attachment on it, the message gets stuck in the OUTBOX and goes out
repeatedly every time I send another message, thus causing multiple
deliveries of the hung up message. It's been going on for some time
and to resolve it I have to go in and manually delete the hung up
message. I'd sue love to fix it!

Do you have AV or firewall that scans incoming/outgoing email? If yes,
disable it.

Hi Dave,

I have the same problem, it only happens once in a while, but when it does
and it just happened again yesterday it sends out over and over until I turn
off my computer! Were you ever able to resolve it? If so any help you can
give me would be appreciated since I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
Otherwise I guess I will have to splurge and pay the 35.00 to get the answer
which is crazy! Hope you can help.

I had the same problem once, and I think I had to turn off Outbound E-Mail
scan in my Virus protection program.
