messages getting lost

my messages are getting lost. msn 6.2 on winxp sp2.
i don't get this. people send me messages sometimes and i
don'yt get them. usually it's many msgs in a row and
usually there's a the little "so and so is wriing you a
message" and then that message dissapears and then they
dont talk, so then i say "did u just send me a message?"
and the answer is usually yes.
something is wierd eithr with sp2 or my msn or my
computer...or something, my connection maybe. this is
annoying.
any help, any tiny little piece of the puzzle will help
me. please. thank you

I know what you mean :-(
I'm experiencing the same kind of problem, hope there will be a fix soon.

do you have the same configuration as me? xp2?
i tried disabling the firewall, it didn't work. i still
havn't tried uninstallingsp2 cause it warned me itmight
screw stuff up... whichthings did you try doing?
Now I am using MSN 7 beta but i get the same probs.

Yeah, it happened to me, i'm using the same config as you
(XP,SP2,MSn 6.2). But mine happened nearly a month ago.
It seems to be ok now, touch wood !
