Messages forwarded from archive are not stored in Sent Items

Outlook 2003 SP1 on Exchange 2000. When I forward a message from my Inbox it
is stored in the Sent Items bin. When I forward a message from a folder in
my archive it is not stored in the Sent Items bin.
Save Forwarded Messages is checked. Is there a separate setting for my
archive? I am viewing it from the same profile.

Is it going to a Sent Items folder in your archive file? Have you done an
Advanced Find over your archive file to see if it is in another folder there?

original message."
