Any time I attempt to open email in OL 2002, I receive message (in window) "a program is trying to access names stored in your Outlook Address Book, Allow? Y or N.
 
This sounds like some add-in is installed that is monitoring newly opened
items and doing something that triggers a security prompt. Check Tools |
Options | Other | Advanced Options | COM Addins
