Message: Unsupported OS

My daugther is a freshman @ Portland State. She was given
a second hand PC with Windows 2000 on it. When she tries
to load a program for her Japanese class she gets the
message "unsupported OS" The cd says it is for Windows 95,
and there does not appear to be a text file on the cd. Any
suggestions or help would be appreciated.

The CD obviously detects NT and won't run as it is designed for Windows 9x. The school should not pigeon hole students into using
software designed only for a particular platform, much less an obsolete one.
