message to all contacts

i have windows xp with sp2, i run office 2003. is it possible to send a
message to all of my contacts at the same time without having to send them
individually and without having to use the cc box? i know i can use the bcc
but i am not sure how to add all contacts without having to type in each
individual e-mail address.

You can select whatever you like after clicking on the TO button, and put
the recipients in the BCC field - but it would probably be better to use a
mail merge to email - this will send out a single message to each recipient.
Click on your contacts folder, then go to tools | mail merge....

First, it will depend on your ISP's message limit. If you don't have too
many contacts, it should not be a problem.

Display your contacts in Phone List view. Select all, and then drag and
drop them on the Inbox Folder icon. You should get a new message
pre-addressed to all of your contacts.

And then you can cut and paste all those addresses from the To box to the Bcc box.

Sending them individual messages with a mail merge would be a better solution, though.

Always my first choice but for a quick and dirty "Hi - my email has changed
from (e-mail address removed) to (e-mail address removed) please update your information" it is
faster.
