Message stuck in outbox

I have a customer that phoned me the other day to say that
a message was stuck in his outbox. The message has a large
number of people in the Cc... feild. This message just
will not send.... I also cannot delete it. I went onto OWA
and accessed the e-mail, but could only read not delete it.
He has on an exchange server - 2000 - with about 13GB of e-
mail for the total company. Is there anyway to delete this
from his outbox? Any doe anybody know what happened?

Exchange 2000 SBS
Outlook 2003 SP1
E-Mail has hundreds in Cc.. feild. He imported from excel
list.
 
Try setting Outlook to work offline. When in offline mode you should be able
to delete it.
 
In the "FWIW Dept"...

I had this happen with e-maisl with attachments and finally got it down to
e-mails above a small size. The MTU setting was higher than it should have
been (default of 1500, but ISP had somehow caused a lower one to be needed,
1462 iiirc). If the other suggestions dont' work out or if it small emails
work fine, check the MTU settings needed enroute.
