Message rules

Can anyone help - I have wasted so much time on this already.
Life used to be simple with outlook express, but recently I have upgraded to
Office Outlook 2003 so that my wife can plug in her pocket PC and syncronize
to the main desktop. We both share the same POP server through our ISP, with
outlook express I used to set a message rule that when I signed on if there
was a message at the server for her the rule applied was "do not download
from server". That option seems to have disappeared from outlook message
rules. It seems to only allow you to apply rules once all messages have been
downloaded and stored locally.
I've tried creating different profiles and using data file management.
Problem with the latter is that we can read eachothers mail.

Our similar E-Mail addresses are the root of the problem(see below), but I
don't want to change them...
(e-mail address removed) (e-mail address removed)

Can anyone advise?Thanks

That rule didn't disappear. It never existed in the first place in Outlook.
Outlook and Outlook Express are two different programs with different
options, despite the similarity in name.
