Message reply icon for Outlook 2003

How do I turn on the message reply icon for Outook 2003?

I use Outlook for my hotmail email account. However, whenever I reply to a
message the reply icon does not go on to the original message that I replied
to.

WHY?

When I use Outlook Express the original email that i replied to
automatically changes to a reply icon. I have no problems w/ Outlook Express
but MS Outlook is a problem. Please Help!

You can't 'turn it on' - it's a limitation of the HTTP protocol in Outlook.

icon? Isn't Outlook 2003 and Outlook Express from the same MS engine?

You can't 'turn it on' - it's a limitation of the HTTP protocol in Outlook.

Nope... they are from two different development teams. OE is from the
IE/Windows group and Outlook from Office group. if you signup for MOOL
(outlook online), the icon displays, but not for the free HTTP protocol.
