message regarding Registry data

Each time I start my computer this message comes up. "One of the files
containing the system Registry data had to be recovered by the use of a log
or alternate copy. The recovery was successful." I ran a full Norton scan. I
ran an Ad-Aware scan. I uninstalled all the games of my grandchildren. I
defragged (sp). The message is still there. I wonder if my computer is having
to recover the file each time, or the message is just "stuck". Any idea as
to what the problem could be and what I can do? Please make any answers as
simple and as non technical as you can. Thanks.
