Message hangs in Outbox with multiple addresses

If I have more than 5 addresses in the To, CC, or Bcc lines no matter what
the size of the message is it will hang up. Any ideas?

No send/receieve progress errors. Not sure what the max is but I don't seem
to have reached it with other emails (in excess of 10mb) Indications are the
email is sitting in the outbox, but I have received some reponses that it was
sent. However, I can't rely on that.

What is the max # of recipients they allow? While 5 is low, its not unheard
of.

If the message doesn't leave the Outbox but you receive reports from people
that they received the message, check your antivirus program. Do you scan
outgoing messages? If so, uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without
the mail scanning feature. Test again.

If that doesn't pan out, enable diagnostic loggin in Outlook to see what's
happeniing during the send/receive. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/300479 ,

I disabled Message scanning and even removed A/V program. I have narrowed it
down to any message over 75-100kbs sent to anyone hangs ups. ISP said it
might be registry corruption. Mimicing on a laptop running the same programs
I can send, receive etal. Don't have a 64 registry cleaner; looking on
Microsoft for some diagnostic program that would help. I also just purchased
"Office 2007 enterprise" and wondering if I should just reinstall office or
should I try to clean registry first. Suggestions?

Did you check the time out in account settings, more settings, advanced?
Does the laptop use the same router as this computer?
Did you try office diagnostics?
Did you enable logging per the KB's Brian posted?

Timeout is 4+ minutes.
Laptop uses same everything as desktop-wireless to wireless router
Have not tried Office Diagnostics or logging yet.
I have done a registry clean, many issues showed up.

I am in process of enabling logging. Not sure about the office
diagnostics...how to get to it?

Office diagnostics is on the help menu.
I'm a bit leery of registry cleaners - they often are too agressive and
remove too much, but office diagnostics should fix registry errors, as will
a repair.

I ran diagnostics and it said it repaired 1 setup installation problem it
found but did not elaborate beyond that. I am going to restart and check
again. After that the only thing I can think of doing is reinstalling
Office. I just purchased Office Enterprise 2007.
