message disapears after read

Hi!
I get a strange result after having read a message: it just disapears from
my mailbox!

Any idea why this happens?

I am having the same problem. The email appears, once it is read, it
disappears, and the inbox is empty.

Anyone know a solution

I would guess that your view is set to "unread messages". Have a look at
the current view.

When did this start happening? Have you ever been able to see read
messages?

It just started happening on Tuesday, I have been using 2003 for about 6
months, with no problems. An email comes into my inbox, the new mail desktop
alert pops up, I look in my inbox, and see the message, soon after it is
read, it disappears. I checked the view setting, and it is set to "messages".
I am connected to an exchange server 2003. I have tried it with both they
echange cach mode turned on and turned off. Any ideas
