Val B.

I am a new user of Windows Vista Mail. (Couple months now.) I have been
sendign and receiving e-mails with Windows Mail but, in the past few days, I
get the Message Cannot Be Found Error...The contents of this message cannot
be found. Why did this just start happening to me? What do I do to correct
the problem? I saw older posts relating to this problem. But, just
wondering what is a current solution to this??? I cannot get to the content
of the e-mail even though I see who it is from, etc. Thanks!

I am also having the same problem for the past few days, the microsoft mail
program is crashing often and half the time the "find message" does not work,
either it never seems to start or else it comes back with 0 messages found. I
have had to resort to using explorer search to find messages in microsoft
mail. I hope someone has a solution as it is a real pain.

Thanks Craig....guess it's just not me! How do you access Explorer Search to
find your messages? I am a "newbie" to Windows Vista! Not really thrilled
with it, might add. XP was much simpler!!!! Thanks!

What if any antivirus programs, antispyware programs, and antispam
programs do you have, and have you ever had a Norton or McAfee
antivirus program on that computer? Some of them cause assorted
problems in Windows Mail.

Also, check if you have either the Google Toolbar program or the
SMS Desktop program installed. If you do, uninstall them, since
they also cause problems in Windows Mail. Web sites that allow
to do a Google search without installing a program don't cause
these problems, though.

Click the Vista start orb and start typing a word or two that is unique
to that message.
