Message Bar

I can not figure out how to enable the Message Bar in Access 2007. The check
box in the Database tools is permanently disabled.

It will probably only be enabled if you have disabled content.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your response, however it was in endeavouring to enable a
disabled component that I discovered my inability to enable the Message Bar.
So... I'm afraid I have already been up that road.
I would greatly appreciate any additional help that might be offered.
