Merging Data from Access to Word

We are having a problem with merging information from access to word. We have files such as AAA-001 through AAA-005. When we try to merge file AAA-002 we end up getting AAA-003 for example next. Why is it not working to merge the file we are looking for (that we use the binoculars for)?

Hi Laura,

Can you give some more information about exactly how you are going about
this? What versions of Word and Access are you using? Where are these
binoculars?
