Can someone please tell me if there is an option to have Access 2002 display
the entire contents of the drop down menus at the top of the window.
Whenever I click on Edit, for example, it displays some of the menu items and
an arrow pointing down. When I click on the down arrow in the menu, it then
displays the entire menu's contents. Is there a place where this option can
be turned off...it's driving me crazy!

Tools - Customize - Options - "Always Show Full Menus"
 
Yes, Peter,

Right click on the Menu area and select "Customize ..." from the menu
presented. Then select the "Options" tab. Uncheck the "Menus show recently
used commands first" option.
