Can't see drop-down menus?

Hello,

I can't see any of the drop-down menus (i.e., 'File...' , 'Edit...', etc.).
This is regardless of which Access database I opened. What happened, and how
can I restore these drop-down menus??

Open your database while holding the shift key down until it opens. Then go
to TOOLS > STARTUP and check to see that you didn't uncheck the Allow Full
Menus or Allow Default Menus checkboxes.

Is the Toolbar there? Try resetting by removing and then replacing.

Thank you for the reply, but that was not it. What else might be going
on here?

Any customizations (even position and such) of command bars are stored in
the system registry. If you clear the appropriate folder in the registry
all menus and tool bars should revert to their defaults. The registry
location is...

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Access\Settings
\CommandBars

(replace 8.0 with whatever version of Office you have)
