Menu's

I have been using Excel for a long time and seems these newer version
prove to be more irritating than it is useful. In Excel 2002 my men
bar goes from File, View, Insert.....but is missing Edit. So I go t
view/toolbars/customize........then I see it there w/ all it's option
(copy, paste, undo, etc).but can't bring it back to the top. Tried dra
and drop, tried reset. Got irriated and gave up. Any help would b
appreciated.

Select the 'Built in Menu' from the view->tool bars->customize ... commands
tab.
Then you can find the 'Edit' menu on the right pane. Just drag and drop it.
