MenuItem Command Buttons

In Access 2000: OnLoad of the form in question all icons are being removed
and in return I would like to create only 4 separate command buttons that
will perform the following tasks…FilerBySelection / CancelFilter /
SortAscending / SortDescending. I started with the DoCmd.DoMenuItem but
quickly found out that it does not work with 2000 so I tried RunCommand but
have had no luck making it work. I can’t waste anymore time on this so I’m
looking for help…please.
