I know there is a simple reg fix to speed up menu delay
from 400 to 0 but i dont know how to do it. Can anyone

If you have Tweak UI installed, run it and select Mouse in the left tree
view. With Mouse selected you will see a slider on the right to adjust
the menu speed. If you don't have Tweak UI, it is part of the PowerToys
available from Microsoft at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx.

Change the Speed of the Start Menu

Start | Run | Type: regedit | OK
Navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop \
Name: MenuShowDelay
Type: REG_DWORD
Data: 400 (0 is the fastest, 400 is default. These are all in miliseconds)
Log off, or restart Windows for the changes to take effect.
