Memtest86

Some of you will know that I have had problems with errors on the
system. I finally got round to running memtest86 and after only 20
mins it came up with a couple of thousand errors.

Can this be right? How does the PC run at all if it is right?

Memtest86 test all of your memory, it possible that when running Windows
that not all the memory in your PC is not being accessed in which case
things my run for a while before your run into a problem.

New RAM solved the problem!

For three months MS had been telling me that recently installed
hardware had a driver that was wrongly accessing memory. It was
nearly right.

I hope that this helps others.
