My computer has only two slot to put memory in. My
question is: Can I put a 256Mb SDRAM in one slot and a
128Mb SDRAM in the other, or both have two be equivalents?

Greetings

Technical, yes you can. But you need to make sure your motherbaord support
that ammount of RAM (It should) But just to be sure check out your
motherbaord manual for the maximium amount of RAM for motherboard can
support

That would be fine. Make sure they are the same (SDRAM) and preferably,
from the same mfg.

I have the exact same scenario on my motherboard with no problems at all.
As long as your mobo is capable of handling the memory (mine can go up to 2
GIG) you shouldn't have a problem.
