I have installed 512m of RAM into my laptop but in my Comp
properties, it show me 480m RAM. WHY????
 
Because your laptop has a video card that does not use
its own dedicated memory, hence it has to borrow system
RAM. Your video card uses 32 MB, 512 - 32 = 480.

Because, instead of a separate video card, you have onboard video
on the motherbaord, using 32MB of your system memory.
