little off topic but


the 2838 mb of memory that google says we get, does everybody realy
get that much?
or do they not expect that anyone is going to use it all so they say
we have it when realy if everybode filled it up, their file server
(googles) would overflow?

I have read that the storage offered by gmail is more or less extra
storage left on their machines that do the web crawling. The storage was
idle so they decided to do something with it. I read the article that made
this claim around a year ago.
