Memory upgrade

what is better for upgrade memory, use one stick 1GB or 2 sticks x 512MB?
( 333MHz DDR PC2700 DIMM CL2.5 )
2 stick more reliable? (if one stick bad, other still work..)

As far as performance...it won't matter...
but if your mobo supports 2 gigs of RAM I'd get the one gig stick
in case you want to add more later.

If you already have 512 in there and think 1 gig will be enough...
then you might as well save some money and get 512megs

Most newer motherboards support dual channel RAM. The system will be faster
if you install the RAM in matched pairs.
