I have 500mb of PC3200DDR 400 ram in my computer in one of the three banks available. I run Windows Xp pro ok.
I found in a box at home some PC2700DDR 333 ram cards ( another 500mb in total so this gives me 1gig of memory) and I have installed these in my computer in the remaining two banks. The computer boots up ok. My question is do you think this is a good move or should I take it out and buy the same memory as was in there in the first place.
