Advice sought as to why my Pentium 3 800mhz with supermicro board which has
3 memory slots, fails to accept 3 memory modules? All sticks are 512mb, and
work individually, but if all 3 go into the board, it only sees 2 ?
Thanks
Bob

Either a faulty MB or faulty RAM - try putting two sticks in and seeing
if the MB "sees" both sticks in all three slots....if so then it's a bad
RAM stick. if not, then it's a bad slot on the MB....
