Memory Problem? Drastic Measures?

I've been building a very large database, about 58K At times, I've
experienced some freezes, crashes, and error warnings "There isn't enough
memory to perform this operation. Close unneeded programs and try the
operation again." I've done so; at times it helps, other times no.

I've moved it over to another computer in the network and have not had the
same problems.

I've been told by my systems folks that I have too many "pictures, sound
files, etc." on my drive, though I've used only 3.5 GB of 31 GB on the drive.
They're recommending removing them.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

hi,
sounds like you need to transfer some stuff to CD's.
IS sould be able to help. our's does. you just need to
take inventory and decide what you want on CD.

What I'm not getting is how the number of JPGs stored on a different drive
(D:) than my ACCESS program (C:) would be causing memory issues with ACCESS?
