Memory Prices

Has anyone noticed that memory prices seem to have dropped recently? It's around £20 for 512MB at quite a few places, and good 2GB stuff for under £90.

When did this all happen :lol: Last time I looked a few months ago it was twice this price I'm sure? :confused:

Ian, prices always go up just before Christmas & seem to fall 2 months later, strange that.;)

You're right Ian, i am looking for 1Gb of RAM for my Sony laptop, and always check Crucial for prices, it was £90 before and shortly after Christmas, it's now £60!!!! :) WOO!!

The memory listed in my sig cost about £190.00 in early December, now it's about £140.00 :mad:

I shall remember this next time I upgrade... ;)

the memory in my current rig is £10 more than when i got it in August

flash memory on the other hand is dirt cheap, 2GB USB drive for £22 :eek:

The ram im ordering has risen almost £20 in just a couple of days, lucky i ordered before the rise. But in general the prices are pretty good.

Had the same feeling Ian...so i bought 2x512mb DDR 400 for £20 from "mmaw"

Gone for the memory upgrade now for Bex's PC - gone for 2x256 PC-3700 to take it up to 1GB total for £22. :thumb:

The prices seem to be falling, i bought 512MB for my laptop about a month ago, now the price is about £10 cheaper.:(
But then thats life!:nod:
