Not unless you have a keylogger program installed. Some programs may have
created temporary files which may still exist, but there is no guarantee

Sorry, I am not answering posted question, but asking another, unrelated
question, hoping someone stumbles on here to answer. ( For whatever reason,
I can get the'Reply' window to open here in Support, but not the "Question'
window)

Question is"Friend has has a PC for approx 2 yrs. Last 6 mos or so he has
had an error message pop up randomly stating something to the effect of "
Optimal Resolution600 x 800' or whatever the numbers are. He has checked the
display settings several times and they are correct. Apparently it isnt
affecting his PCs function other than to be annoying, so he hadnt bothered to
ask for help w/ it until now. Apparently is it very random, and sometimes
will go for a few weeks w/p appearing, then begins reappearing frequently. I
have my suspicions as to the cause, but would appreciate any one who may have
experience with this and who as a resolution. Thanks, nadra

I suggest:

1. That you investigate fixing the problem with your newsgroup reader so
that you can make new posts rather than replying to an existing one. You are
less likely to get replies if you post as a reply. Which newsgroup software
are you using?

2. Regarding the problem, I don't think it likely that windows xp is
generating this message, its more likely to be some application that is
running. Any idea what application your friend is trying to run when he gets
this message? Also, what screen resolution is he currently using? The
application is probably the significant item here.

hope this helps,

Brian.
