Hi

Did you have a look in mobo's manual to see the specification of memory the
PC takes?

Hi Rob:

If the RAM you purchased is fully compatible with your computer and you
are certain you installed it correctly, it should work. If it's not
working, exchange it under its warranty.

The beeps most likely are signals from the bios that something is wrong.
The fine manual for your computer should tell you what the beeps mean.

Howdy! You may really want to check out your motherboard manual. I'm
not saying the PC World guy isn't right but it may be that your
motherboard only supports a certain amount of RAM and you tried to put
too much in. I know I had an older PC that only supported 256MB RAM.
If you would like to tell me what kind of PC you have, I would be more
than glad to see how much RAM your motherboard will support. If it has
been custom built, please let me know the motherboard manufacturer.

Hope I can help!
