MEMORY HELP

first, Hello
I have a Dell OptiPlex GX1 system, it came with Windows 2000 and now I
upgraded to Windows XP, but its very slow, and they told me that i need
memory to improve performance. I think t has 192 MB of memory, Can anyone
help me find what type of memory does this system uses?

The type of memory in use and required should be in the owner's manual. You
can also go to www.crucial.com and run their memory test.

however if your speed cpu is 350 I Think that xp will run slow.

i've found out that my system has memory type PC133 but other websites say
PC100, inlcuding the dell website.

Question:
can i mix PC100 and PC133 memory together?

Not a good idea and likely to create problems. Windows XP is very picky
about all the installed memory matching exactly in all respects.
