memory footprint for system process on XP Home

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how much memory their system process uses
in XP Home.

Right click on clear part of toolbar, slect task manager and processes
tab.

I asked as I had a problem with it taking 100% cpu on my HP laptop and
it was 216K on my m/c with SP1. A friend of mine just bought a DEL and
I noticed that his was only 84K with SP1.

After I upgraded to SP2 to try and fix the problem, I *think* it was
212K.

Seeing his at 84K made me hink I might have had something dodgy on the
m/c, but a restore back to factory software could not fix it.
