when windows xp home boots up I get an error message
memory access denied kernel 32 @ ####:#######
# = various numbers
which change each time I boot up
Anyone know what it is? I haven't been able to find
anything about this

Did you recently get an E-mail message, purportedly from
Microsoft, and installed the attachment it included? If so, it
wasn't from Microsoft (Microsoft never sends out patches by
E-mail) and you installed a virus.
