I have an application that process very intensive algorithm which requires
3GB of memory.
Here is the system configuration:
Dual Opteron Processor 250
4GB memory
Windows 2000 SP4
120GB HD (SATA)

Is there a way to by pass Windows limitation 2GB memory?
Or any workaround for this problem.

Any help will be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Bob,

So there is no way that I can make Win2K Pro to work with 3GB of memory for
an application?

Any patch or hotfixes?

On further review you could install Win XP PRO to be able to use the
/3GB switch, but no Win2k Pro can't. Only servers editions of the
Windows 2000 family will go to 3 gig.
