Members only access to webpage on my website - Frontpage 2002

I am trying to set up a page in my website that requires user login but found
out that my host supports subwebs and not unique permissions under fp server
extinsions. They said I can set password protection to the directory. Will
this work with Frontpage 2002.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Kirk.

Please start a new thread/new topic (you've replied to a thread about a
completely unrelated topic!).

What exactly do you mean by your question? There are about 10,000,000,000
sites on the web - take your pick!

What is your site about? Look for similar webs with the same topic.

Eg if it's about motor racing, you'd want to link to other motor racing
sites, if its about dancing, then you'd link to sites about your particular
interest eg jazz, or ballet or ballroom or whatever.

Obviously if I'm off the track here, it's because your question is not clear
about what you're asking.

This will work, but you need to tell those you want to access the "Members
Only" page what the Username and Password is. I use this method on my Bass
Club site (Members Only page in a P/W protected directory on the server and I
tell all members the UN/PW to access the page in that directory).
