The knowledge base article (910466) that describes the problem gives a work around:
To work around this problem, follow these steps:1. Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl in
the Open box, and then click OK.
2. Click the Languages tab, click to clear the Install files for East Asian languages check
box, and then click OK two times.
Unfortunately I do not have either of the international language options checked so the solution
does not apply.
Is there any other work around or do I have to wait for Microsoft to issue a real fix?
