Meetings are sent when Outlook 2007 opens

Brian

Greetings,

I have an admin that has had meeting move and invites sent to attendees when
Outlook 2007 opens. Here are the steps to recreate the issue.

1. Create a meeting in OL2007
2. Open meeting. Change Time or date. Minimize meeting.
3. Close Outlook 2007(the "X" was used to close). Select Do not save
changes. OK
4. Open Outlook 2007.

All attendees will recieve a new invitation for the modified meeting.

* Is this behavior by design?
* How can i prevent meeting from being sent on open?
- Can i enable a prompt before sending?
* Will this be addressed in a future hot fix or service pack?

If the cause is related to a problem caused by live maps addin it might be
fixed in an update. I'll see if I can repro it.

Is the meeting request closed? is outlook.exe left running in tasks manager,
processes?

Diane,

Your prompt reply is appreciated.

In this case, the meeting request closes after clicking do not save changes.
I believe the process has ended but i will need to double check to be
certain.

take care,

Brian
