Meeting Request arriving in the form of Message

I am getting SOME Meeting Requests in the form of a Message, which will not
allow me to Accept, Decline, etc. The Accept, Delcine, Tenative, ect buttons
don't even appear.

Other Meeting Request are arriving in the form of a Meeting Request which I
am able to Accept, Decline, etc.

How do I change the Meeting Request that arrives in the form of a Message
back to a Meeting Request? Or is it a setting from the person sending the
message who has Outlook 2003 as well?

Thanks!

It's the senders fault most of the time. :) But it could be your mail
server. Usually its because the TNEF was removed, but if its the same
person, it should not be an issue. Reminders on the 'bad' meeting requests
should also not be an issue when both are using the same version.

Are you both on the same exchange server? It should never happen if you are.
If not, have the sender remove the reminder and see if it works all the
time.

There are 2 users for the same mail server. I get the Meeting Request
correctly but the other users account gets it as a Message.

What is the TNEF?

I believe we are all using the same exchange server. I know we are using
Outlook 2003. The sender is able to allow Delegates, but I am not. Could that
be something?

I will have a new Meeting Request sent with no reminders and see if that
works.

Thanks.

Delegates should not matter, but it they can be removed for a test to see if
it works correctly without delegates.

The Organizer send a test Meeting Request with no reminders and it still was
delivered in the form of a message.

I sent a test Meeting Request via my home computer and it showed up as a
Meeting Request just fine.

Now I think it is the Organizer for a different company who is sending the
error???

I do not have the Delelgates Tab under Tools > Options so I know that is not
it.

It would be great to solve this issue as I am lost as to how to fix it.
Thanks for your time and efforts. Any other suggestions.

the organizer is on a different server? The message is probably not getting
sent as RTF to people on other servers.
