Meeting Invitations

When I send a meeting invitation to some members of the
office staff, it is received as a 'text' message format
indicating the date/time/location of the meeting and they
do not have the ability to accept/decline. Other members
receive it as a calendar item format with associated
ability to accept/decline/tentative/etc. I am using
Outlook 2002, while the other members are using 2000 or
2000 SR-1.

We have checked various option settings, etc. with no
luck.

Anyone out there have any ideas???

THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY RESPONSE.

Hi Plug45

I am not sure why this would be happening; however, I did find the following article in the MS Knowledge Base that appears to describe this as a known problem in earlier versions of Windows and Exchange Server. Perhaps it is still a problem when there are different versions of Outlook involved also??

Hopefully, someone else will have some ideas or a solution to this for you
