Hello id like to remove the bility for my users to copy music from cd:s and
save it with mediaplayer.

Sure, go to Control Panel>AdminTools>Local Security Settings>User
Rights Assignment.
 
Okay , but in wich specific policy do you set so that they cant use the copy
music function in media player !
 
Stefan, if you can't do it there try the Registry. Start>Run type:
regedit Navigate to
HKey_Local_Machine\System\Current Control Set\Enum\IDE\Cdrom drives.
rt click and select
Permissions. See what can be achieved there.
 
yes that i know that , but then i restrict the whole cdrom drive , i only
want to disable the option, to copy music with the media player option copy
music.
