Thierry

Your lights please, for this problem :

What does it means ?
I just tried to install on my XP this last update for Windows Media Player
My OS has all fix updated.
My system is protected by Kaspersky AV and executes a full check each day at
1 pm local time.
The 3d before the last: Worm P2P in the setup file provided by Microsoft
.....

If is is a real worm, at that URL or email join MS ?

Thanks in advance
Thierry

Assuming that you've checked and verified that your setup_wm.exe file
is a Microsoft file then:

Upload the setup_wm.exe file to Virus Total:

http://www.virustotal.com/xhtml/index_en.html

If no other av alert (which they probably won't), then submit the file
to Kaspersky for analysis. It's a likely false alert that needs to be
fixed.

Hi Art,

Thanks for the link.
That looks indeed to a false error according to Virustotal and Kaspersky
online scans
So I accepted the install this time (and I prayed !)
Remain to KAV to find a fix.

Thanks
