mediaplayer problem

Hey everyone i have a problem with windows media player i hope someone can
help me with

i noticed lately that streaming content from the web wasnt working
with media player 10 nothing in the system has been changed lately

i decided to download it again and every so offten while installing it
came up with a box saying the software didnt pass windows logo testing
which is silly its a microsoft product ive never had this problem with
any software before or even lately

i then tried rolling back the player to series 9 which produced the same
errors so i uninstalled all of media player and cant get it back at all
now because it keeps giving me that same error

any help much appreciated im totally stuck here
