Hi,
I have just purchased a dvd rewriter for my computer.Theres just one
problem,I cant load the software while my windows xp has a media player!I
have been informed by sonic(whom I purchased the product from)that I would
have to delete windows media player, then load my new software, and finally
down load windows media player!Unfortunately I cant delete the media player
from my system,it is not in add/remove programs.My question(finally!)how do I
delete the media player,do I have to? is their another way to disable the
media player temporarily?
Thanks
Garvan

Media Player is an embedded part of Windows XP. You
can't or shouldn't attempt to remove it. You received some
bad/uninformed advice from Sonic. Media Player wouldn't
prevent you from installing or using the Sonic software. Can
you repost and tell us what type of installation issue you are
having ?

Windows Media Player is a core part of Windows XP.You can't delete that.
