Media player

Have used media player since I purchased the computer 2
years ago. Tried to play some of my music and received
following message: no audio hardware is available (not
true) or the hardware is not responding.
My wife has clicked the sounds tab on clipart (Microsoft
word) - could this be the cause?
Any suggestions please?

Hello

Are you getting any sound at all, also can you
provide your pc type or even soundcard type, also
could be that you need to re-install your soundcard
drivers.
