media player wont connect to internet

my media player wont connect to the internet and i dont
know what to do the work offline is unchecked and i know
everythings fine but it just wont connect

Open wmp,tools,options,connections,edit as needed.
You might also in tools,click,search for media files in
the hd,use the slow method it runs less than 20 sec.
